Overview

Sales professionals wanted! Physician Partners of America is seeking a full time experienced Patient Experience Specialist for our rapidly growing multidisciplinary integrated health organization. We have multiple locations in both Texas and Florida with our corporate headquarters in Tampa, FL.

 

Our operations include multi-site Ambulatory Surgical Centers and Medical (Urgent Care & Pain Management) Clinics  Pharmacy, and Labs (Urine, DNA and Molecular) managed from our corporate office here in Tampa. Our patient experience team reaches out to patients to ensure that at any of our facilities, our patients are receiving top-quality care and having a fantastic experience. We are looking for a positive **sales** professional to help our team succeed in providing empathetic care. Responsibilities

  • Reach out to and receive calls from patients; handle their requests appropriately while making them feel like your #1 priority (because they are!)
  • Handle a high volume of outbound follow up calls to patients for consultation 
  • Oversee assigned surgeons' schedules
  • Request insurance authorizations and pre-certifications for patients' appointments
  • Build positive rapport with patient base while building value in the PPOA brand
  • Overcome objections and deliver a great front-of-the-house experience for patients
  • Schedule pre-operative and post-operative appointments
  • Enter data information into system
  • Educate clinicians on scheduling protocol and guidelines

Qualifications

  • High Degree of Professionalism and confidentiality
  • 2+ years in sales (inside sales preferred)
  • Ability to multi-task while producing accurate work
  • Prior experience with HMO, PPO, Commercial, Medicare insurances is a plus
  • Be reliable
