***We are looking for experienced Patient Account Specialists to join our clinical Patient Account Team. This will be a fun, fast-paced, and competitive yet team oriented environment.  We need energetic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic teammates.  By just doing what you do best, you will help patients receive better care and reach better outcomes at PPOA.***

  • Collect past due balances from patients over the phone
  • Respond promptly to patient inquiries with clear communication and high-quality service
  • Conduct duties with empathy, support, respect, and professionalism at the core of every interaction
  • Evaluate and identify priority accounts
  • Document collection activity, post adjustments, and ensure balance accuracy for clinical staff to reference
  • Resolve billing discrepancies in timely manner
  • Protect patients’ confidentiality
  • Handle a high volume of in and outbound calls to meet the needs of our patients


Our ideal candidate would have a combination of:

  • Prior call center sales, collections & negotiations, or customer service experience
  • Healthcare collection/billing reimbursement experience
  • A driven and competitive yet compassionate personality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills that enable PPOA to be positively represented to patients
  • Strong computer skills with experience working in CRM’s, EHR’s, Practice Management Systems, Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience multi-tasking and working in multiple systems while fielding customer/patient inquiries.
