Office Manger - Ambulatory Surgery Center

Physician Partners of America (PPOA) is an established AND growing integrated health organization with a diverse set of medical ventures, specializing in pain management clinics and ambulatory surgery centers.

We are seeking a full-time Office Manager to join our Habana Ambulatory Surgery Center. We are looking for a team-player with exceptional customer service and leadership skills, capable of supervising the business office functions of our center.


  • Administrative
    • Direct front and back office business functions
    • Ensure non-clinical staff following corporate policies, procedures, compliance program and efficient work-flows
    • Complete accurate documentation for insurance verification, coding/billing, patient registration
    • Assists Administrator with maintaining employee files according to state, Medicare and AAAHC standards; keeping logs of when licenses and certifications are due, etc
    • Assists administrator with AHCA reporting quarterly
  • ASC Maintenance
    • Monitors staff’s needs: provides ongoing staff training as needed, restocks office, ensures that facility has necessary tools and resources to perform care functions
    • Assists in recruitment, evaluation, retention of personnel, ASC non-clinical staff training, and monitoring of staff’s requirements for certifications
    • Monitor schedule- block time and make recommendations for effective utilization to Administrator; ensure data input in surgery schedule is accurate; cases are authorized and verified and patients have all been given accurate information in a timely manner
    • Works on the ASC’s behalf with related departments in relation to business needs: IT, Human Resources, Scheduling, Billing and Collections
  • Compliance
    • Responsible for ASC practices remaining in compliance with state and federal guidelines (e.g., fraud, abuse, and anti-kickback statutes)
    • AP and Payroll information relayed to PPOA Corporate accurately and timely


  • College Degree Preferred (but combination of experience & education considered)
  • 2 years related experience in healthcare organization and/or medical supervisory experience
  • ASC background strongly preferred
