    Physician Partners of America (PPOA) is a fast-growing integrated health care organization with multi-site ambulatory surgical centers, clinics, pharmacies and laboratories in both Texas and Florida.     We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team! Our HR Department supports a diverse workforce of healthcare and corporate professionals. As such, we are looking for an equally dynamic Generalist with diversified talents able to both support our current employees and acquire outside talent to build our organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the HR representative for assigned division
    • Administer HR policies and procedures
    • Communicate effectively with Sr. Management regarding employees
    • Collect and maintain HR data relating to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment functions
    • Make recommendations for process improvements (we’re a young company growing at lightning speed—we’re looking for an individual that thinks ahead to streamline processes and continually strives towards process improvement)
    • Process paperwork and ensure accuracy; follow up with managers as needed
    • Prepare internal employee communications regarding changes and updates

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in HR, Business or related field
    • 3+ years experience in HR with significant employee relations and talent acquisition skills
    • Fundamental knowledge of employment law and risk mitigation
    • Strong background in developing an awesome work environment – be prepared to discuss how you’ve created a culture of engagement
    • Demonstrated experience coaching managers and employees
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Healthcare experience would be helpful, but not required
    • Ability to travel regularly throughout the area and to other locations now and then
