    Physician Partners of America (PPOA) is an established and growing multidisciplinary integrated healthcare organization. We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist (PRN) to join our PatientRx Solutions team in Tampa, FL.


    PPOA strives to offer our patients the best in healthcare; our pharmacies use pharmacogenomics and compounding to create prescriptions specifically designed for patients based on their DNA! This PRN Pharmacist will be a valued member of our team, ensuring that we always have a qualified pharmacist available that we can trust to provide high-quality care when required.


    • Maintain complete, current, and accurate chart notes which includes date, action taken, contact information of referral, current patient demographics and insurance eligibility in conjunction with medical plan of care
    • Fill and dispense prescriptions in timely manner
    • Counsel patients on medications over phone and in-person
    • Maintain communication with providers and clinics to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment
    • Order supplies and maintain organized workspace
    • Provide outstanding customer service; explain organization’s process of referrals, services or resources available to inquiring patients or providers
    • Engage with teammates to provide well-rounded patient care
    • Handle patient complaints in professional manner
    • Fax pertinent medical records, demographic information, and insurance eligibility to different specialist offices as needed


    • 4 year degree from an accredited school of pharmacy and 5 years of work related experience
    • Must have a current Florida pharmacist license
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management and organizational skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and flexibility are required.
