    JOB SUMMARY

    The Manager of Patient Financial Solutions will be responsible for launching our patient responsibility collections revenue cycle team and directs collection efforts to collect revenue on claims determined as patient responsibilities. This leader will direct their team to provide every patient with exemplary and timely service as well as financial solutions. This position reports directly to the Associate Director.

    HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

    Our corporate office is located in Tampa, FL. The job will be Monday thru Friday typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Work hours may be subject to change. Noise or Vibrations: Copy machine, phones, computer and printer, other office equipment

    Responsibilities

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Structure the team to meet PPOA’s current demands and lay a foundation to scale with PPOA’s growth.
    • Implement efficient workflows allowing the team to service multiple entities working in disparate systems.
    • Prepare the team to excel in three pillars; customer service, collections, and claims/billing corrections.
    • Manage and report on team KPI’s
    • Manage complex collections for multiple providers, facilities, and ancillary services.
    • Ensure the department reflects our company’s standards of service at all times.

    Qualifications

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • College Degree Preferred (but combination of experience & education considered)
    • Experience in pain management clinics and/or ASCs within an out of network environment ideal
    • 5 years revenue cycle experience and 2 years of management/leadership experience preferred
    • Experience in collections on patient balances preferred.
    • Call center leadership experience preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Knowledge of healthcare billing terminology, EOBs, HIPAA, and revenue cycle best practices/processes
    • Time management, organizational and strong communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and provide high-quality results
    • Ability to work in a fast paced customer driven environment and make responsible decisions quickly
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
    • Ability to speak English effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization, additional languages preferred
