Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct care with empathy; Empathy is a core PPOA value and at the heart of everything we do
  • Respect confidentiality of patient’s health records; HIPAA and OSHA Compliance
  • Accurately document anesthetic assessments
  • Develop and implement anesthesia plans
  • Oversee emergence and recovery from anesthesia
  • Work in compliance with all of PPOA’s policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Clear and active state registered nurselicense
  • Certified by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists or National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
  • Insurable by a medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this institution or state
  • BLC and ACLS certification
